4.3 FLUSH/PURGE

Depending on the type of foam agent in use, it is recommended to flush the system
periodically. This can be done once a month.
➢ For this operation, proceed as follows:
- Keep the pump at idle pressure with no output.
- Set the selector valve first to REFILL
- Set the flush valve to FLUSH.
- Set the metering valve to 1%.
- Water will discharge from the flush outlet behind the control panel. Allow to flow
for 15 seconds at the 1% position, then slowly turn the metering valve 360°
to flush the other concentration positions. The whole of this operation will take about
60 seconds.
At the end of this operation, return the system to the off position:

Set selector valve to OFF.

Set flush valve to FOAM.
