    If necessary, an external phantom supply can also be used. The VR88 receives the phantom power directly from a mic cable when connected to a mixer or other microphone input that includes a phantom supply.

Ce type d'alimentation est offert sur la plupart des consoles, préamplis externes et enregistreurs sur disque dur de qualité.     De cara a maximizar la calidad del sonido debe poner una especial atención en la ubicación de su VR88 y en su colocación con respecto al instrumento o cantante que quiera captar. El VR88 es un micro que usa un patrón de captura bidireccional, por lo que capta solo los sonidos que provengan de delante o detrás de él.
