9. Blade Attachment.

Align the 3 blade screws, pre-installed on the
blade arm, with the 3 holes on the blade.
Press down on the blade firmly enough so
that the blade screws come through the
holes in the blade. (Be careful not to use so
much force that the blade arm bends.)
Place the y-connect blade assembly piece on
the opposite side of the blade from the blade
arm, with the narrower end toward the end of
the blade with one hole and against the
blade screw on lower part of the blade arm.
Rotate y-connect blade assembly piece
counterclockwise so that y-connect blade
assembly piece locks into place.
Repeat procedure described in Section 9 for
each blade.
10. Light Kit Assembly (Optional).
NOTE: If you do not wish to use the light kit, you
may proceed to Section 11 on the following page to
complete installation.
If you wish to use your fan WITH the light kit,
remove 3 screws from switch housing and
remove switch housing cap from switch housing.
Locate BLUE (or BLACK) and WHITE wires in
switch housing labeled FOR LIGHT. Remove and
discard cardboard label and plastic that hold
these 2 wires together. Remove wire connectors
from these same wires as well--save wire
connectors for later use.
Locate hex nut and lock washer in one of the
hardware packs. Punch center cap out of switch
housing cap with a screwdriver. Feed wires from
light kit fitter through center hole in switch
housing cap. Then, screw switch housing cap
onto threaded rod on light kit fitter followed by
lock washer and hex nut. Tighten hex nut over
lock washer for a secure fit.
