Specifications For Use: Saf-T-Knife
with up to 8 knives (less if you are using unit to store a cleaver or
other larger knife) and a wand-style (round or oval shaped shaft) knife
sharpener. The lower or front slot on the unit top will hold knives up
to 1/10 inch (2.5mm) in blade thickness, with one large slot that can
accommodate a knife blade up to 5 inches (127mm) in width.
Before Using Saf-T-Knife
Saf-T-Knife Station comes completely assembled for ease of shipping.
It is recommended that you disassemble the unit, wash and sanitize
before first use. See disassembly instructions below.
Saf-T-Knife Station is constructed of three, easy-to-assemble/
®
disassemble components.
Mounting Instructions: Before mounting, you will need the
following items: (1) screwdriver or drill with screwdriver
attachment and (4) #10 screws, anchors, washers (included in packet).
Drywall anchors may be needed. A level is recommended.
STEP 1: Disassemble unit. See Disassembly/Assembly
instructions below.
STEP 2: Take unit body (part C) and hold up to desired mounting area.
With a pen or pencil, mark wall location for screws by using the
holes in the back. Use a level, if available, to ensure the unit
will be level. Put the unit body aside. (Figure 1)
STEP 3: Install screws into marked locations, taking care to leave
a slight gap (1/8") between wall and screw head. (Figure 2)
STEP 4: Using the keyhole opening on back of the unit body
(part C), line up with screws, insert unit and gently push
down to secure in place.
STEP 5: Install front door (part B) by lining up bottom hinges on
doorwith the hinge area on part "C". (Figure 3)
Close door until the door clicks into place.
STEP 6: Slide top (part A) onto unit by lining up grooves under
the top with the grooves on the side of the body (part C).
Until both sides click into place. (Figure 4)
Please note: the front door (part B) must be on and closed before
top can be attached and unit can be completely assembled.
Disassembly/Assembly: Saf-T-Knife
of three, easy-to-assemble/disassemble components.
To Disassemble:
STEP 1: Remove knives from unit. (Figure 5)
STEP 2: Slide off top, pulling gently away from wall while pressing
in the buttons on both sides of top (part A). (Figure 4)
STEP 3: Remove front door by opening door slightly and lifting
up and away from unit. (Figure 6)
To Assemble:
STEP 1: Install door (part B) by lining up hinges on bottom of door
with hinge areas on bottom of unit body (part C).
Close door and secure until you hear a click on each side
on top of cover. (Figure 3)
STEP 2: Line up grooves on top (part A) with grooves on unit body
(part C) and secure into place. (Figure 4)
The unit is completely assembled.
