Tip Guide AND the Operations Manual BEFORE attempting to use the machine.

You have just
purchased a quality power drain machine
designed to help you clear clogged drain
lines 2" to 4" in diameter and up to 100 FT
in length. Please read all the instructions
carefully so you can safely and effectively
clear your drains without injuring yourself
or damaging your machine

REMEMBER:
THIS MACHINE IS NOT DESIGNED TO CLEAR TREE ROOTS FROM PIPES! THESE WILL
DAMAGE THE CABLE, VOID THE WARRANTY AND COULD HURT YOU. Rent a large drain
cleaning machine with at least a 5/8" diameter cable from your local rental center or call
a professional for the difficult task of clearing root intrusions.

AUTOMATICALLY EXTEND OR RETRACT INTO THE MACHINE.
CABLE MUST BE FED BY HAND.

* IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THE CABLE BECOMES STUCK AND CANNOT
BE PULLED BACK BY HAND, PLACE MOTOR IN REVERSE MOMEN-
TARILY TO DISLODGE CABLE. IMMEDIATELY AFTER FREEING CABLE,
SWITCH MOTOR BACK TO FORWARD POSITION
WARNING!
CABLE KINKING AND BREAKAGE ARE THE RESULT OF OVERSTRESSING
THE CABLE AND ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
REPLACEMENT CABLES ARE EXPENSIVE!
Do not operate the machine in reverse
except as shown above in blue.
If the cable begins to buckle or build up too much twist, immediately take your
foot off the foot pedal switch to stop the machine to reduce the amount of stress
in the cable and prevent possible injury.

• Always wear snug fitting, LEATHER gloves and safety glasses.
NEVER use cloth or fabric gloves; they can get tangled in the cable.
This can cause severe injury.
• Do not wear any loose clothing, rings or wrist watches and be sure to
tie back long hair. These items could get caught in the spinning
cable.
• If strong drain cleaning chemicals have been used in the drain, be
careful to avoid contact with the cable of debris found in the drain.
Serious burns to the skin or eyes could occur.
• Never place the machine in a puddle of water near the drain.
• If extension cord is needed use a 16 gauge or lower, heavy-duty
outdoor extension cord.

Place the motor switch in the

after the cable has passed the
obstruction and continue to hand feed
the cable into the drain until all clogs
are cleared.
After clearing the drain, place motor in OFF position and

manually feed cable back into the drum. Rinse and
lubricate cable prior to storage to prevent rust.
