Additional Features
As an added safety feature, the doors can
be programmed to lock 10 seconds after
the ignition is turned on. In addition, the
doors can also be programmed to unlock
the doors after the ignition is turned off. To
prevent the accidental locking of the keys in
the car, the system will not lock the doors if:
1. The ignition is turned on when any of the
doors are open.
2. Any door is opened within 10 seconds
after the ignition is turned on.
As a safety feature, the driver's door can be
unlocked before all other doors are
unlocked.

The SEC-8428 remote control transmitter
has the capability of controlling two
separate, compatible security systems.
