3/ READINg AND INTERPRETATION OF REsULTs:
Wait 10 minutes for migration before reading:
- NEgATIVE TEsT: any test showing only 1 pink band
(control band) is a negative result.
- POsITIVE TEsT: any test showing 2 distinct pink bands
(control band + test band) indicates a positive result.
Any colour change in the test band, even faint, should
be considered as a positive result.
- If no control band appears, the test is invalid.
n RECOMMENDATIONs
• shELF LIFE:
- 24 months at room temperature (from manufacturing date). The
expiry date is printed on each box and on each test pouch.
- Store at room temperature, between +2°C to +30°C. Keep the test
away from sources of excessive heat or cold.
• sTORAgE OF sAMPLEs:
- Samples must be used at room temperature.
- For testing within 24 hours of sampling: store serum, plasma, or
urine at room temperature.
- For testing between 24 to 48 hours of sampling: store serum,
plasma, or urine between +2°C and +8°C (refrigerator).
- Swabs: use within one hour of sampling (ideally, use immediately).
