INTENDED USE
The spotlight is designed for illuminating distant objects
and areas requiring additional light.
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure
to follow the warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
SPOTLIGHT SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
This spotlight is not a toy. Always keep it out of the reach
of children. Never aim the beam towards vehicles. You
may distract the driver.

To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is
necessary when an appliance is used near children.
■
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put
spotlight or charger in water or other liquid. Do not
place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
■
Use only recommended battery pack. Any attempt
to use another battery pack will cause damage to your
spotlight and could possibly explode, cause a fire, or
personal injury.

Remove

performing any routine maintenance or cleaning.
■
Do not place spotlight or battery pack near fire or
heat. They may explode. Do not dispose of a worn
out battery pack by incinerating. Do not incinerate the
battery, even if it is severely damaged or completely
worn out. The battery may explode in fire.

Do not operate spotlight or charger near flammable
liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmospheres.
Internal sparks may ignite fumes.
■
Do not store your spotlight in a damp or wet
location. Do not store in locations where the
temperature is less than 10°C or more than 38°C.
Do not store in outside sheds or in vehicles.
■
Never direct the light beam at any other person or
animal.
■
Do not look directly at the operating lamp.
■
Do not disassemble the product.
■
Do not permit children to use spotlight.
■
Do not attempt to modify this product or create
accessories not recommended for use with this
product. Any such alteration or modification is misuse
and could result in a hazardous condition leading to
possible serious personal injury.
■
Do not use the product if it is not completely
assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or
damaged. Use of a product that is not properly and

Do not use the product in contact with fabrics.
Keep the lens at least 1 m from all surfaces. The lens
can produce sufficient heat to melt fabrics and cause
serious personal injury.

Do not expose the product to rain. Water entering
the product will increase the risk of electric shock or
malfunction.
■
Remove battery pack and allow the lens to cool before
storing or cleaning the product.
■
Keep the product dry, clean and free from oil and
grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning.
■
To reduce risk of damage to 12 Volt adaptor and
cord, pull by 12 Volt adaptor rather than cord when
disconnecting power cord.
■
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times. Proper footing and balance enable better
control of the spotlight in unexpected situations. Do not
use on a ladder or unstable support.
■
Store spotlight out of the reach of children and
other untrained persons. Flashlights are dangerous
in the hands of untrained users.
■
Do not use or permit use of spotlight in bed or
sleeping bags. This spotlight lens can melt fabric and
a burn injury could result.
■
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and
use them to instruct others who may use this tool. If you
loan someone this tool, loan them these instructions
also to prevent misuse of the product and possible
injury.
■
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable;
when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
■
The spotlight may be connected to a 12 Volt power
source, such as a cigarette lighter receptacle or
automotive power port. Refer to vehicle owner's manual
for location of cigarette lighter receptacle or power port.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national
provisions and regulations.
Follow all special requirements on packaging and labelling
when transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that
no batteries can come in contact with other batteries
or conductive materials while in transport by protecting
exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps
or tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or
leaking. Check with the forwarding company for further
advice.
BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS

Do not place battery tools or their batteries near
fire or heat. Following this rule will reduce the risk of
explosion and possibly injury.
■
Never use a battery that has been dropped or
received a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject
to explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged
battery immediately.
