STEP 4:
INSTALL TANK-TO-BOWL GASKET

A: INSTALL LOCKNUT
Holding flush valve in place, place friction washer onto
bottom of flush valve then hand-tighten locknut to secure.
red wrench to go ½ turn beyond hand-tight.
Use
Do not overtighten.
B:
Apply red tank-to-bowl gasket to
bottom of flush valve locknut, fully
covering locknut. Proceed to Step 5.

STEP 4:
GASKET FOR GERBER
GERBER TOILETS:

A:
Tear the three perforated tabs off
the black gasket.
B: INSTALL LOCKNUT
Place the black gasket (a) onto the
bottom of the valve, followed by the
friction washer (b) and locknut (c).
C:
Hand-tighten the locknut to secure the flush valve. Use the
red wrench to tighten the locknut 1/2 turn beyond hand-
tight. Do not overtighten.
D:
Place red gasket onto bottom of the
valve, covering the locknut and nesting
inside black gasket. Proceed to Step 5.
