First Use

1. Clean the plastic parts. Refer to the "Clean the Plastic Parts" section.
2. Remove the lid and fi ll the upper container with water.
3. Replace the lid.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use tools or overtighten the nut.
4. If leaking occurs from the spigot, use clean hands to tighten the nut. Do not
use tools.
NOTICE: A dry fi lter cartridge will work slower until it has soaked for one day.
