6. Insert condensate vessel (Fig. 2, item 1) into the
maintenance unit housing from below (Fig. 2,
item 9) so that one of the marks (Fig. 3, item 1 or
2) lines up with the indentation (Fig. 3, item 3) in
the housing of the maintenance unit. Then turn the
condensate vessel until the lock (see Fig. 3, item 4)
engages at the indentation (Fig. 3, item 3).

7. Connect the compressed-air line to the maintenance
unit.
8. Switch on the compressed air.
9. Check for leakage. In case of leakage, check
installation position of the condensate vessel.
10. Check if the condensate hose is still properly routed
into the collecting container.

The air filter cannot be ordered separately and
instead is included in the maintenance package
1 687 010 576. The maintenance package
1 687 010 576 contains all wearing parts required to
maintain the EPS 118 for 6 months.

Conversion

Preparing the EPS 118
1. Switch off the EPS 118 at the on/off switch.
2. Pull the power supply cable out of the outlet.
3. Turn off compressed air supply.
4. Remove the compressed-air line from the
maintenance unit.
5. Drain the condensate vessel of the water separator.
Removing the maintenance unit
1. Remove the plug-in hose nipple with seal.
2. Turn the maintenance unit anticlockwise and
remove from the connection. In doing so, hold the
connection at the hexagon or hexagon locknut with
a wrench.
