    SECTION 5 MAINTENANCE 3. Remove the electrical tape which secures the pilot arc (red) cable to the main power cable. This exposes the wire splice. Remove the heatshrink tubing from pilot arc cable to expose the pilot arc knife-splice connection. Disconnect the connection.
  • Página 30 SECTION 5 MAINTENANCE 4. To install the new torch head assembly - Insert the new piece of heatshrink tubing onto the pilot arc cable attached to the new torch head assembly. Connect the pilot arc cable and the main power cable by reversing the steps taken to disconnect them. Be sure to slide the heatshrink tubing completely over the knife-splice connection.
