USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Place the appliance in the middle of the table, on
a heat resistant surface.
• Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is at "OFF"
before plugging the appliance in.
• Do not place the appliance too close to walls or
obstacles (Minimum distance of 15 cm between
objects and the appliance).
• When using for the time, coat the plate with a
few drops of oil. And clean it, with a dry cloth.
• To avoid damaging the non-stick Teflon plate,
use a wooden scraper.
• Do not use pans other than those supplied with
the appliance.
• Leave the hot plate to heat up for about 5 minutes
to remove the protective coating.
• You may see some smoke appear, however, this is
normal and will soon disappear.
• However, consider ventilating the room.

USE

• Cut the meat into small pieces, thereby reducing
the cooking time. Slice the raw meat and place
it on a platter or a wooden chopping board. Your
guests can then choose the amount of meat that
they want to grill.
• You can make toast in the raclette pans or even
fry eggs, potatoes and many other things.
• You can serve the grilled meat with various
sauces, salads and breads.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Unplug the appliance before you start cleaning
it.
• Do not clean the appliance directly under
water. Do not immerse in water. Surfaces can
be cleaned with a clean damp cloth.
• The pans and the grill can be cleaned with
soapy water, or can be washed in the dishwasher.
• If stains persist, warm soapy water is recommended.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects
to clean the appliance.
• Clean the inside with a damp cloth.
