The revised heat exchanger is designed as a replacement for faulty
heat exchangers in BRÖTJE condensing boilers.
Adjusting of the device must only be performed by a qualified gas
heater specialist. Observe the notes of this manual!
– 1 heat exchanger complete with gaskets, sensors and screws
– 1 seal for burner cover
– 1 clamp piece as holder with fastening screws
– 1 Plug 3/8"
– Gaskets for flow and return
– Gaskets for gas pipes
– 2 fixing studs for connecting the heat exchanger with the collector
shell
– 1 instructions
– 1 plastic bag
– The plastic bag supplied is suitable for packing the faulty heat ex-
changer for its return to the manufacturer.
– The 3/8" plug is used to seal the quick-action air vent valve. How-
ever, that is only necessary if a quick-action air vent valve was al-
ready mounted on the flow pipe and this hole is missing in the air
chamber.
– If the heat exchanger is used in a boiler series WGB-K or BBS, use
the nipple of the old heat exchanger, since only the standard nip-
ple for the WGB 15/20 is supplied.
Observe the instructions of the respective gas fuel value boiler!
1. The heat exchanger conversion follows the boiler instructions.
2. Following the replacement, 2 parameters need to be changed,
otherwise the boiler can suffer from overloads.
Setting in accordance with section 2.
3. Check the full and low load on the burner and adjust, if necessary.
4. Retighten the burner screws since the gasket may have settled.
