General information
The multiple control relay is a relay control which can be used in a variety of applications. This device is used to
operate a tubular drive with mechanical or electronic limit switches (without radio receiver), as well as other
sequential phase controls.
The multiple control relay can be used for simple group control of roller shutter drives. These groups can be
arranged as individual groups or sub-groups which are controlled centrally. This device also include the follow-
ing feature: total isolation from the load and control circuit
Use
The multiple control relay may only be used to operate roller shutter systems.
This device may only be used in connection with equipment from other manufacturers following consultation
with your local retailer.

Warning!

• All terminal connections to a 230 V network must be made by an authorised electrician.
• Before assembly, always disconnect the mains lead from the power supply.
• The provisions of the local public utilities and stipulations for wet and damp rooms in accordance with VDE
100 must be observed during system installation.
• For use in dry rooms only.
• Use unmodified original parts only.
• Keep persons away from the systems guide track.
• Keep children away from controls.
• Always comply with national regulations.
• If the system is controlled by one or more devices, the system guide track must be
visible during operation.
• Only cables with suffi cient electric strength may be used to connect control cables
(protective low voltages).
• When dimensioning the entire system, the total phase load must be observed.

fi es the equipment without prior approval from Gaposa s.r.l. or if the equipment is installed incorrectly and/or
contrary to these installation instructions, by the customer or a third party.
Any further processing must comply with all current statutory and offi cial regulations governing manufacture
and advice to customers, especially the EMC regulations.
Assembly
The relay control is normally mounted into the distribution box located beside the drive, although it can also
be mounted into a deep distribution switch box (with at least 60 mm depth all-over) e.g. behind an UP/DOWN
pushbutton. For wiring, always observe the terminal diagram.
Function
A maximum of two roller shutter drives can be connected to each multiple control relay. For local operation,
pushbuttons are connected. Switches must not be used! As a central operating element, a pushbutton, switch
or roller shutter timer, e.g. Centronic TimeControl TC52, may be used. The central command works in priority
mode.
