(fig. 5I). The initial delay is standard set at 0 seconds
for the entire system, which means the fan will start
running immediately after the welding starts.
Connect one connector, numbered from 1 to 15, per
extraction arm. The maximum number of connections
is 15. By means of the 15 potmeters (fig. 5D), the step
size of the extraction volume can be adjusted. In case
of six extraction arms, each connected potmeter
should be set at value 6. When one extraction point is
operating, the fan will run at 1/6th frequency (50Hz/6).
When all extraction arms are operating, the fan will run
at maximum frequency. If at a certain extraction arm a
higher extraction volume is desired, the belonging
potmeter can be adjusted proportionally higher. If more
than six extraction arm are switched on, the fan will
not exceed the maximum frequence.

The frequency inverter must be programmed
to prevent the fan to operate at a frequency
less than 20Hz. The manufacturer strongly
suggests to use the frequency inverter (Freq)
supplied by them, which is already set and
tuned according to the corresponding fan.
