10. Don't overreach while operating this tool. Maintain solid footing and balance at all times.
11. Remove the Allen-key after installing the MBX
Always ensure that the Allen-key is removed before you turn on the tool.
12. Avoid starting the tool unintentionally. Never carry the plugged-in tool while your finger is on the
"on/off" switch button.
Be sure the switch is in the off position when you plug in the tool.
13. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Never operate this or any other tool
when you are tired.

14. Store tools in a dry, secure place, out of the reach of children and other unauthorized persons, when not in use.
15. NEVER force this tool to operate at an excessive speed or pressure. The tool will operate effectively and safely
only at the operating rates for which it was designed.

17. Always operate the tool on an electrical current of the rated voltage.
Unstable voltage may damage the tool or cause injury.
18. Use clamps or a vise to secure the items to be stripped. Always use both hands to operate the tool.
19. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools and accessories sharp and clean for effective and safe performance.
Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Inspect electrical cords periodically and
replace if damaged. Keep the vertical grip and the tool body dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.
Periodically blow the air vent with an air gun to ensure clear airflow.
20. Disconnect tools when not in use, before servicing, and when changing accessories.
21. Before each use, check for damaged or broken parts, alignment or binding of moving parts, mounting,
and any other conditions that may affect operation of the tool. NEVER use the tool if it is damaged or
misaligned in any way.
All damaged safety guards, switches, or other damaged parts must be repaired or replaced by an authorized
service technician, unless otherwise indicated elsewhere in this Instruction Manual.
NEVER use this tool if the "on-off" switch is broken.

22. All tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel at the dealer from which you purchased
the tool.
Allowing unqualified personnel to perform service or maintenance could result in injury to the operator and/or
damage to the tool.
23. When servicing this tool, use only identical replacement parts. Using unauthorized parts or failing to follow
Maintenance Instructions will void warranties and create a risk of electrical shock or injury.
WARNING:
The dust created by stripping certain materials may contain chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other
reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
* Lead from lead-based paint,
* Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
* Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
To reduce your exposure to these chemicals, ALWAYS:
* Work in a well ventilated area, and
* Wear OSHA-approved safety equipment, including dust masks specially designed to filter out microscopic parti-
cles, gloves, safety goggles, and other appropriate personal protective gear.
