OUNTING WITH THE
The Mount Clip included with the scanner is
provided to enable a stable, yet simple installation.
follow these instructions to mount the Base Station
using the clip:
1. Determine the location where the Base Station
will be permanently mounted.
2. Cut out and use the template on page ten to
mark the screw locations.
3. Place the Mount Clip in position, aligned with
the screw locations shown. See Figure 3a.
4. Thread three screws into the marked locations
and through the Mount Clip as shown. Use
either the machine screws (P/N 4-1381), or the
self-tapping screws (P/N 4-1382) provided with
the kit.
5. Pull the tab located on the end of the clip until
the screws rest against the extreme position of
the adjustment holes. Reference Figure 3b.
6. Orient the Base Station above the clip as
shown, aligning the large holes with their
corresponding screw heads and lower into
place.
7. Slide the Base Station lengthwise to the screw
lock (small hole) position (Figure 3c).
8. Push the protruding edge of the Mount Clip
toward the Base Station until the metal tab
rests against the base (Figure 3d). The Base
Station is now securely seated.
