➭ Spray the cloth with Active Windscreen

Cleanser.
➭ Clean the windscreen around the fracture.
➭ Carefully remove any loose glass splin-
ters.
➭ Attach the inspection mirror to the inside

of the windscreen positioned centrally
over the fracture.
➭ Identify the fracture form and select the

resin type:
• Circular: Polymer II 80 cps
• Star-shaped: Crack Fill 40 cps
• Ray-like: Extreme II20 cps
➭ Fasten the injector suction holder to the

middle of the fracture.
➭ Tighten the injector screw until it contacts
the glass, then tighten by a further quarter
turn.
➭ Tighten the levelling screw until it contacts
the glass.
➭ Fill the injector with repair resin

(completely cover the fracture, allowing
for the shrinkage during setting).

Troubleshooting

Possible cause
Suction holder applied with
too much pressure.
Windscreen too warm.
Pressure too high.
➭ First pressure phase:

• Connect the pump.
• Push the knurled nut of the pump to the
rear.
➭ Gradually build up a pressure of
0.7-1.4 bar using the pump and hold
(leak test).
➭ Vacuum phase:

• Push the knurled nut forwards.
➭ Pump 4-6 times to remove the trapped air
from the fracture.
➭ Maintain a vacuum of 1-1.7 bar for
approx. 10 minutes.
➭ Second pressure phase:

• Push the knurled nut of the pump to the
rear.
➭ Gradually build up a pressure of
1.4-2 bar using the pump and hold for
approx. 5-10 minutes.
➭ Remove the injector suction holder.

➭ Place the hardening film onto the fracture.
➭ Cure the repair point for approx.

5 minutes using the UV lamp.
➭ Remove the hardening film.

➭ Carefully scrape off any excess resin
using a scraper blade.
➭ Remove the inspection mirror.
➭ Clean the inside and outside of the wind-
screen using Active Windscreen Cleanser.
Remedy
During positioning, press the holder only lightly
against the windscreen.
Check the position of the chamber.
Check that the injector screw is raised and is
not pressing against the windscreen before the
lever is closed.
Relieve the pressure immediately.
Allow windscreen to cool down.
Apply less pressure.
Use this lower pressure over a prolonged peri-
od in order to achieve comparable results.
