TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
T200 will not power up.
Triggers will not power up
unit.
PROTECTED light goes out.
The POLARITY FAULT light
turns on.
There is no picture on your TV.
There is a audible "thump",
"click" or "pop" coming from
your speakers during power
up.
Possible cause
The T200 is not receiving
power.
Circuit breaker is tripped.
There is no power to the
trigger.
Indicates the internal surge
protection is inoperative.
This happens when the T200
receives multiple over voltage
surges and sacrifices itself to
protect your electronics.
This indicates that the wall
outlet the T200 is plugged into
has it's polarity inverted.
Signal cables are not connected
correctly.
While annoying, this is not
an unusual occurrence. It can
happen when a preamplifier or
power amp is being turned on.

Solution
1. Check that the unit is plugged in.
2. Check the outlet for power.
1. Reset the circuit breaker on the
front panel.
2. If the Breaker continues to trip,
try moving one or more units to
another Power Manager, you may
be drawing too much current.
1. Check the trigger input cable. It
must be connected to the trigger
input on the rear panel.
2. Ensure the trigger cable you are
using is terminated with a 3.5mm
mono plug.
3. Trigger voltage is incorrect (below
3 volts or over 30 volts). Check
the trigger source to be sure the
signal is between 3-30 volts DC.
1. DO NOT OPERATE the T200 if the
PROTECTED light is out.
2. Disconnect your electronics from
the T200.
3. Contact your Tributaries dealer
for service.
1. Do not operate the T200 with
the POLARITY FAULT light
illuminated.
2. Call an electrician to have the line
repaired.
1. Check that the cables are
properly connected to the input
and output of the DSS/CATV
connectors on the back of the
T200.
2. Check all connections from each
source to the TV to ensure they
are all properly connected.
1. To minimize or eliminate
"thumps", "clicks" or "pops",
connect the power amplifier(s) or
receiver to the delayed outlets.
