3. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS

Make sure the packaging contains the following components:
- Lamp (in the version requested)
- Bag containing the lever of the switch and the wrench
- Operating Manual
The device must be cleaned before use.
The device must be installed only by qualified personnel, competent in installation of
electrical equipment in medical rooms.

The power supply must always be disconnected during installation.

3.1 Assembly of the lamp on the dental unit

Install the lamp by inserting the terminal pin into the specific housing of the dental unit.
Dimension of the terminal pin: 35 mm
Maximum load allowed on the head: 1 kg.

3.2 Power Connections

POWER CABLE: In the version without transformer be sure to keep no more than the bare
minimum length for the connection.
Connect the cables of the lamp to the supply with low voltage alternate current. Take care to
respect the electrical features stamped on the name plate of the lamp.
3.3 Remote cable connection (optional)
The connection of the remote cables must be done according with fig. 2.
Maximum range of arm from the side of the pin: 2.5 m.
The remote cable must not be lengthened during the installation phase.

The connection of external devices to the remote cable could affect the compliance of the
lamp to EMC requirements.
