KlimaSet (Air conditioning kit)

Intended use

The KlimaSet (air conditioning kit) is used to make the elec-
trical connection between the Truma Saphir vario or the
Saphir compact air conditioning unit and the TG 1000 sinus
power inverter.
Only to be used in combination with the ElektrikSet (electri-
cal kit – part no. 40090-23100 – connections shown in grey
in connecting diagram). Can also be combined with the
AutarkSet (autonomy kit) and the SwitchboxSet (switchbox kit).
– AutarkSet (part no. 40090-26200) – for operating a 230 V
unit (up to 1000 W) via a socket.
– SwitchboxSet (part no. 40090-26800) – makes it possible
(in conjunction with the autonomy kit) to operate a Truma
air conditioning unit (Saphir vario or Saphir compact) or an
external device via a socket.
Important Notes
The 230 V electrical connection must always be made
by an expert (in accordance with VDE 0100, part 721 or
prIEC 60364-7-721, for example, in Germany). The instructions
shown here do not constitute a request for non-experts to
make the electrical connection, but serve as additional infor-
mation for an expert who is employed to do the work!
Please pay attention to the installation instructions for the
TG 1000 sinus power inverter!
The 12 V cables must be routed separately from the
230 V cables (empty tube).
Route connecting cables in such a way that they cannot cha-
fe. Please use the empty tube that is available as an accessory
(part no. 60010-54500). Please also use leadthrough bushings
or edge protection profiles where there are sharp edges such
as metal panel leadthroughs.
The connecting cables and plugs must not be subjected to
force (strain relief). All cables must be securely attached and
must not become loose or disconnected due to vibration – risk
of fire!

KlimaSet connection
– connect 230 V power cable (3 m, with Wago socket) to
power inverter (a) and route to national network connection.
– route 230 V power cable (of air conditioning unit, 3 m or
1.5 m) from air conditioning unit to power inverter (c) as
shown in connecting diagram, connect Wago plug with
strain relief and plug in.
If necessary, use the 230 V power cable extension (total
length max. 10 m) (Truma accessory; 3 m extension for
power cable with locking pawl for strain relief, part no.
40090-85800).
Plug Com cable (3 m) into air conditioning unit and route to
power inverter (e) (maximum possible length including exten-
sions 10 m, Truma accessory: 3 m extension for Com cable,
part no. 40090-37800).
Plug red/yellow/black sensor cable (6 m) to power inverter.
Connect yellow sensor cable to D+ of alternator, and connect
to D+ of power inverter (terminal 87 at relay) if connecting in
accordance with connecting diagram 2 of ElektrikSet. Attach
red sensor cable to positive terminal (fuse close to battery)
and black sensor cable to negative terminal of starter battery.
