6. BATTERY REPLACEMENT

1. Open EWP3 enclosure.
2. Remove the old batteries from the battery slots.
• We strongly recommend to use quality brand batteries, such as: GP, Ansmann,Energizer.
• Only Primary 3V Lithium 1500mAh CR123A batteries can be used. Install only new, high quality and unexpired battery.
• All batteries must be removed or plastic tab inserted between battery slot and the battery if the device is not in use.
• EWP3 device is able to work with just 1 inserted battery, thus we strongly recommend to use BOTH batteries to maintain a longer
operational time.
• To to avoid fire or explosion hazards, the system must be used only with approved battery. Special care must be taken when
connecting positive and negative battery terminals. Dispose old batteries only into special collection sites. Do not charge, disassemble,
heat or incinerate old batteries.
• The battery status can be monitored in real-time using ELDES Configuration software.
• The system sends an SMS text message to the listed user phone number as soon as the battery level runs below 5%.

3. Insert the new Primary 3V Lithium 1500mAh CR123A type batteries
based on the battery slot positive/negative terminals.
4. Batteries replaced.
