Intended Use

Movable dust extractor for the removal of small wood chippings, sawdust and other fine
waste particles. Detachable debris collector for easy waste disposal.

Unpacking Your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your new tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and
functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are
missing or damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool

Before Use

WARNING: Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before
attaching or changing any accessories, or making any adjustments.
Castor installation
1. Lay the Mounting Surface (12) upside down on a secure flat surface
2. Install the Castor Assembly (4) to the Castor Mount (10) in each corner of the Mounting
Surface, using the Phillips M5 x 10 Bolt (38), Small Crush-Washer (39), Medium Flat-
Washer (31) and Medium Nut (30), (Image A)
Motor installation
1. Locate the Support Column Mounting Flange (3) to the Support Column Mount (11) on
the Mounting Surface (12)
2. Secure the Support Column (2) to the Mounting Surface using the M8 Bolt (35), Large
Crush-Washer (34), Large Flat-Washer (33) and Large Nut (32), (Image B)
3. Place the Mounting Surface upright so it is resting upon the Castor Assembly (4)
Note: It will be necessary to secure the assembly in place when lowering the Motor (23)
onto the Support Column. Secure the assembly using sufficient stops such as wheel
chocks or heavy duty door stops against the sides of the Mounting Surface.
4. Carefully lower the Motor onto the Support Column, aligning the Motor Mount (24) with
the Motor Mounting Flange (1), (Image C)
5. Secure the Motor to the Motor Mounting Flange using the M8 Bolt (35), Large Crush-
Washer (34), Large Flat-Washer (33) and Large Nut (32), (Image D)
Vortex housing installation
1. Install the Vortex Housing Support Arms (14) to the Vortex Housing Support Arm Mounts
(13) using the Philipps M5 x 15 Bolt (38), Small Crush-Washer (39) and Small Flat-
Washer (28), (Image E)
2. Sit the Gasket (9) in the recess of the Impeller Housing Outlet Flange (25), (Image F)
3. Carefully lift the Vortex Housing (6) and align the Vortex Housing Inlet Flange (8) with the
Impeller Housing Outlet Flange
4. Loosely install the M8 Bolt (35), Large Crush-Washer (34) and Large Flat-Washer (33),
connecting the Vortex Housing (6) to the Impeller Housing (21), (Image G)
5. Align the Vortex Housing Support Arms with the holes in the sides of the Vortex Housing,
and secure in place using the Philipps M5 x 15 Bolt, Small Crush-Washer, Small Flat-
Washer and Small Nut (29), (Image H)
6. Fully tighten the bolts securing the Vortex Housing Inlet Flange and Impeller Housing
Outlet Flange
Note: When aligning the Vortex Housing Inlet Flange and the Impeller Housing Outlet
Flange, it may be necessary to loosen the M8 Bolts that are securing the Motor (23) to the
Motor Mounting Flange (1) for a precise alignment.
Dust collector installation
1. Install the Dust Collector Support Arm (15) to the Dust Collector Support Arm Mount (5)
using the Hex Screw (26) and Micro Crush-Washer (27), (Image I)
2. Install the lower Dust Collector (16) by pulling the Securing Neck (17) over the lower
portion of the Vortex Housing (6) and closing the Clamp (18)
3. Hang the remaining Dust Collector from the Dust Collector Support Arm. Pull the
Securing Neck over the upper portion of the Vortex Housing and close the Clamp
Final assembly
• Fit the end of the Flexible Hose (7) over the Impeller Inlet (20) and secure in place using
the Jubilee Clip (19), (Image J)
