chest Strap adjustment
1.
With the user in the wheelchair, pull the Chest Strap so that there is only 3" (75mm)
of strap from the buckle to the 'D' ring (Fig. 8).
2.
Adjust the slack on the strap by pulling through the Three Bar Slides, making sure
the slides are evenly spaced, roughly in the middle of the wheelchair back. Thread
the second Chest Strap fully through the second Three Bar Slide (Fig. 9) to lock off
the two Chest Straps.
3.
Tighten the Chest Strap by holding on the buckle and pull the 'D' Ring (Fig. 8) until
the strap is not too loose to be ineffective nor too tight to cause discomfort.
4.
To release the tension on the strap, pull the buckle (Fig. 10) and pull the strap
through.
5.
To release the Chest Strap, press the buckles (Fig. 11) and remove the Chest Pad.
