Use Caution when disengaging the Height
Locking Knob. The mounted load may have
increased (addition of equipment) or
decreased (removal of equipment) while the
Height Locking Knob was engaged, causing
sudden downward or upward movement of
arm.
4.3 Positioning VHM Arm in Channel
Caution: Do not attempt to remove the Arm from the Channel while Arm is loaded with an instrument.
4.3.1. Lock the Arm in highest vertical position using Height Locking Knob.
4.3.2. Using the 1/8'' hex wrench provided, loosen four (4) set screws in Slide.
4.3.3. Relieve the weight of the mounted device(s) by lifting against the underside of the Arm, near the instrument.
Simultaneously, push up or pull down the opposite end of the Arm immediately in front of the Slide and move to desired
height.
4.3.4. Tighten four (4) Set Screws to secure position in Channel.
