Charging by solar: The RESYNC is designed for primary charging using the micro USB
input,but can be solar charged. The sun is typically most powerful during the hours
of 10am & 2pm.
In order to maximize the charge, angle your RESYNC toward the sun, and reposition
it throughout the day for full exposure of the solar panel. Keep in mind that charging
through glass dramatically reduces efficiency. BRUNTON recommends the RESYNC is
not left on the dash of a hot car unattended, as the panel surface could be damaged.
Additionally, obstructions like shade, clouds, air pollution and locations at higher
latitudes can cause slower charge times. Full, direct, bright sun serves best. Keep in
mind that charge times from zero % to half are much longer than from half to full, so
it is recommend to charge your RESYNC before leaving home, and then use the solar
panel to maintain the internal charge.
Charging your device by USB: Be sure the RESYNC has at least some level of stored
charge. Be sure that the plug/adapter is correct and fully installed. Be sure to press
and hold the power button. Keep in mind that it takes greater current to charge a
device from zero % to half, than from half to full. As such, your RESYNC will be more
efficient if you recharge your device when it reaches 50% charge than if it was
allowed to drain completely.
Do not short circuit, dismantle or dispose of the unit in fire
Do not submerge the unit in water
Do not expose to temperatures greater than 60 degrees C
