WARNING
In order to avoid injuries, always remove the battery from the device before fitting parts.
FASTENING THE EDGE LIMIT
See figure 2
The edge limit restricts the cutting thread and thus reduces the danger of damage from the rotating cutting thread
Fit the edge limit in the openings of the strimmer head envisaged for this.
ATTACHING THE GRASS DEFLECTOR
See figure 3
WARNING
The thread cutting blade on the grass deflector is sharp. Avoid contact with the blade. Contact can lead to serious injuries.
Never use the appliance machine with a defective or missing grass deflector.
Remove the battery.
Turn the grass trimmer/edge cutter so that you can reach the trimmer head.
Push the protective cover (1) into the slot on the cutting head.
Align the hole on the protective cover with the screw hole on the trimmer head.
Turn the screw into the trimmer head and tighten the protective cover.

Even if you know the device well, the highest cation must be taken when using it. If you are inattentive even for just a short moment, serious injuries can
occur.

ATTACHING THE HANDLE
See figure 4
Gently pull the ends of the handle apart and push the handle onto the shaft until it locks in.
Swivel the handle and fix it in the desired position.
Insert the screw through the screw hole.
Screw the wing nuts on and tighten them.
ADJUSTING THE ROD LENGTH
See figure 5
The length of the rod can be adjusted to the size and reach of the user.
Remove the battery.
Hold the rod tight.
Press the locking button (1) down and keep it depressed in this position.
Pull or push the handle (2) to the desired position.
Release the locking button (1).
Move the handle (2) forwards and backwards until it locks.
COMMISIONING
Hold the trimmer in your right hand by the rear handle and hold the front handle in your left hand. Hold the device tight during use. The trimmer should be held in a comfortable position, the
rear handle should be at around hip height. Cut high grass from top to bottom. This prevents grass from winding around the shaft housing and the thread head, which could lead to damage to
the device due to overheating. If grass winds around the head of the thread, release the trigger and the locking button in order to stop the trimmer. Remove the battery and carefully remove
the residual grass.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
See figure 6
Insert the battery into the trimmer. Align the bar on the battery with the guide in the battery shaft.
Allow the latch on the bottom of the battery to lock in ad make sure the battery is securely inserted before starting use.
REMOVING THE BATTERY
See figure 6
Release the trigger and the locking button in order to stop the trimmer.
Press the button for the battery latch on the bottom of the battery and hold it depressed.
Remove the battery from the trimmer.
