Operating the trimmer
1. To switch on the trimmer first press the On/Off trigger. To switch off simply release the On/Off switch trigger.
2. The lawn trimmer comes with a full spool of line. The line wears down during work. To ensure that the line is always the optimal
length a small amount of line is released by the spool each time you operate the machine. To release more line gently pull on
the line and press the square button on the side of the spool several times. The trimmer line will be cut to the right length by
the blade on the line cover.
3. Do not overload the trimmer, cut in small sections which will greatly improve efficiency by keeping the trimmer running at high
speed,
4. For the correct cutting action, swing the line trimmer from side to side as you walk forward, holding it at an angle of approx. 20°
as you do so.
5. Make several passes to cut long grass shorter step by step from the top. (Fig. H)
6. Keep the line trimmer away from hard objects in order to avoid unnecessary line wear.
7. Use the edge of the guard as a guide when cutting near fences and walls, etc. Moving trimmer in a backwards direction will
avoid damage (Fig. I)
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
!
Warning: Switch off and disconnect from mains supply before replacing, adjusting or cleaning your trimmer. Be aware that
the trimmer continues to rotate for a few more seconds after it has been switched off.
To Store: Store it out of the reach of children, in a stable and safe position and in a dry place where the temperature is not too hot
or too cold.
• Store the trimmer away from direct sunlight, if possible in a dark or barely lit place.
• Do not store in a nylon bag as this could encourage the formation of damp patches.
• Do not store the grass trimmer resting on the floor. Hang it by the upper handgrip instead, so that the guard does not touch
anything. Ensure the resting guard does not touch anything. The resting of the guard on a surface could alter its shape and
therefore its dimensions and safety characteristics would be modified.
