11 Integration into the CODESYS programming environment

The characteristics of the IO-Link D/A interface are described in a device description file. This IODD file
contains information about identification, device parameters, process and diagnostic data, communication
characteristics and the layout of the user interface in engineering tools such as CODESYS.
The current IODD configuration file can be accessed at www.festo-didactic.com/service/mps.
The following description is based on CODESYS version "3.5 SP3 patch2 pbF". User prompting may vary for
other versions.
