• This appliance is designed to be used for
domestic and similar purposes such as:
– kitchen areas reserved for staff in shops,
offices and other working environments;
– farms;
– use by guests in hotels, motels and other
residential environments;
– other bed and breakfast type
accommodation.
• WARNING: Position the lid in such a way
that the steam is not directed toward the
handle.
• WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the
water is boiling.
• If the kettle has been over-filled, boiling water
may be ejected.
• The kettle must only be used with the base to
which it is associated.
• This appliance can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities
or lacking experience or knowledge on

the condition that they have been given
supervision or instructions for using the
appliance in a safe way and understand the
dangers involved.
• Children must not use the appliance as a toy.
• WARNING: Ensure that the kettle is
switched off before removing it from the base.
• The appliance must not be immersed in water.
• Only the coupler socket of the correct
connector must be used.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance
by the user must not be carried out by
children, unless they are aged 8 years or over
and only under adult supervision. Keep the
appliance and its cable out of reach of children
under 8 years of age.
• Only use your kettle to heat drinking water.
• WARNING: The reservoir must not be open
during use.
• Only plug your appliance into an earthed
socket, or into an extension with integrated
