EASY SETUP: CLIENT MODE

SWITCH TO CLIENT MODE
move the mode switch to the clIent position. In this mode, the
dIR-604 will function as a wireless client.
CONNECT TO yOUR PC
use the included ethernet cable to connect the dIR-604 to your
desktop or laptop pc. connect the power adapter to the dIR-604.
CONFIGURE THE DIR-604
set the pc's Ip as 192.168.0.51 and the subnet mask
as 255.255.255.0. open a web browser and go to
http://192.168.0.1. enter admin as the user name and leave
the password blank. now you can use the setup Wizard to
configure your dIR-604.
CONNECT WIRELESSLy
after completing the setup Wizard, you can connect to a
wireless network. set the pc's Ip to "obtain an Ip address
automatically" or your previous Ip settings to access your
wireless network.
