2. Scroll Down to «UNREGISTER» and press Menu.
3. Enter the 4-digit PIN code (default = 0000) and press Menu.
4. Scroll Down to highlight the handset you wish to de-register. A confirmation beep will be heard
and the display will return to the previous menu.
Restore default settings
The phone can be restored to its default (original) settings. All the handsets that are registered to
the base will be retained.
CAUTION
Resetting your phone to its default settings will delete all entries in the calls and
redial lists. Current handset and base settings will also be reset. Entries stored
in the phone book are retained.
1. Press Menu, scroll Down to «ADVANCED SET» and press Menu.
2. Scroll Down to «RESET» and press Menu.
3. The display shows «RESET ?».
4. Press Menu to confirm or Phonebook to return to the previous menu.
5. The phone will restart automatically.
NOTICE
Once reset, the handset will prompt you to reset the date and time, see page 28.
Answering Machine
The phone can digitally record up to 12 minutes of messages. As well as recording incoming
messages, it can record memos for other users.
The answering machine can be operated from:
1. The base (play and delete messages only).
2. The handset.
3. Remotely, from any other DTMF telephone, see page 30.
Switch the answering machine on/off
1. Press Menu, scroll Up or Down to «ANSW MACHINE» and press Menu.
2. Scroll Down to «ANSWER MODE» and press Menu.
3. Press Up or Down to select either «ANSWER ONLY», «ANSWER + REC» or «OFF» and press
Menu to confirm.
Listening to your messages
Using the base:
1. If there are new messages, press Play and only new messages will be played. Press and hold
Play to play all messages.
2. If there are no new messages, press Play and all messages will be played.
