SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read these safety instructions carefully before
using the appliance and keep safe for future
reference.
• This appliance is designed to be used for
domestic and similar purposes such as:
– kitchens used by employees in shops, offices
and other professional environments;
– farms;
– use by guests in hotels, motels and other
residential environments;
– bed and breakfast type accommodation.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack
of experience or knowledge, on the condition
that they have been given supervision or
instructions for using the appliance in a safe
way and understand the dangers involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance by the user must
not be carried out by children unless they are
over 8 years of age and are supervised.
• Keep the iron and its power out of the reach of
children under 8 years old when it is plugged

in or during cooling.
• The user must not leave the iron unattended
when it is connected to the power supply.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their after-
sales service or a similarly qualified person to
prevent any danger.
• The mains plug must be disconnected from the
power socket before filling the water tank.
• The iron must only be used with the iron rest
provided.
• When the iron is put back on its iron rest,
make sure the surface that supports the iron
rest is stable.
• The iron must be used and rested on a stable
surface.
• The iron must not be used if it has been
dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or
if it is leaking.
• The temperature of adjacent surfaces may
increase when the appliance is on.
• Check that the power supply voltage is
identical to the nominal voltage and that the
electrical outlet is really grounded.
