Only staff suitable trained on chemi-
cal products operation should work
on digestion process of samples.

• Assembly the hoses:
Ø 10 hose from the Scrubber to the vacuum pump.
Ø 12 hose from the collector to the Scrubber.
• Start the digestion cycle from the temperature controller.
• Start the vacuum pump.
• Visually check every 30 or 40 minutes, the digestion process.
• When finishing the digestion process, the temperature process beeps. Then carry
out the following operations:
- Remove the tubes rack from the digester without disconnecting any
hose and leave it on the holder.
- Keep the vacuum pump on.
- Carefully carry out this operation.
WARNING:
Use protective glasses and gloves for any manipulation of the rack with
samples or if you just want to check the digester for a visual inspection.
• Let it cool for about 15-30 minutes with the fume collector system connected.
• Stop the vacuum pump.
• Carefully disconnect the hose from the fume collector if you want.
WARNING:
CAUTION: The drops that can fall from the collector or from the hose are
sulphuric acid drops. Manipulate with care to avoid chemical burns on the
skin.
• Remove the fume collector from the tube rack and leave it on the holder.
• Fume collector cleaning:
You can simply clean the fume collector with water.
• Water tank emptying:
To empty the tank, just remove the «emptying tube» from the upper connector.
• Water circulating function:
The vacuum pump can also work as a water closed circuit.

Connect the hose to the «water circulating out port».

Place the «water circulating switch» in the ON position.

When starting the pump, this will move the tank water to the «water circulating
out port».
