Caution: Ensure that the area directly behind the
mounting surface is clear of wire or other obstruc-
tions that may be damaged while drilling.
4. Mount the battery case to the trailer frame, tongue, jack
post or other suitable location within reach of the breakaway
switch, ensuring that the case does not impede the switch's
lanyard.
5. Install the breakaway battery and charger into the case,
ensuring that the battery is properly charged.
WIRING
Note:Refer to the attached wiring diagram for addi-
tional information.
Breakaway Switch:
1. Connect one of the black wires to the breakaway battery's
positive (+) terminal.
2. Splice the second black wire into the blue wire leading to
the trailer brakes (this wire should test for 12v (+) when the
vehicle brakes are applied).

Battery Charger:

1. Connect the battery charger's Red wire to the positive (+)
terminal of the breakaway battery.
2. Connect the battery charger's Black wire to the negative (-)
terminal of the breakaway battery.
3. Splice the battery charger's Yellow wire into the positive
(+) or Aux circuit from the trailer connector (Vehicle 12v +).
4. Splice the battery charger's White wire into the negative (-)
