Pour maximum 1,5 litre of water into the water tank.
Pour normal, cold tap water into the filling aperture up to the
maximum level.
You can use tap water if it is not too hard (less than 10 DH). If the
water in your area is very hard (hardness higher tan 17 DH/21 Clarke),
it is advisable to use distilled water, which you can obtain from your
local supermarket or chemist.
Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch or chemically descaled water in the
watertank. Do not use water from a water softener either.

Close the steam tank by firmly turning the screw cap
clockwise.
Fast refill

First set the 'steam tank on/off' switch (F) to 'off'.

Press the steam activator button (M) until you no longer hear
any steam escaping from the appliance.

Keep the steam activator pressed in and slowly unscrew the
cap of the steam tank (B) by turning it anti-clockwise.The
steam tank is now depressurised.

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

Fill the water tank as described in section 'filling the watertank'
and let the appliance heat up again.

Setting the temperature

Always place the steam tank on a stable, level and horizontal surface
Do not put the steam tank on the soft part of the ironing board.
Always place the iron on the iron stand or on its heel. Do not put the
hot iron on the supply of the mains cord. Make sure the cord does not
come into contact with the hot soleplate.

Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket.

Set switch 'Steam tank on/off' ≤ (E) to position I.The pilot

light in the switch as well as the pilot light 'Steam tank heating
up' U (C) will go on.
The iron heats up faster than the steam tank. Hence you can switch on
the iron a few minutes later than the steam tank.
