The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your

The machine must not be damp
and must also not be operated in
damp suroundings.
Before each use of the unit, check the
cable and plug. If damage is detected, do
not use the unit. Have repairs performed
only by a qualified technician. Never
open the unit yourself.
 Any electric shock can be hazardous. Do
not touch "live" parts. If the HOT STAPLER is
defective, do not continue to use it until the error has
been identified and corrected. Check the mains
cable regularly; if it is defective or if the insulation is
worn, replace the cable immediately.

Working safely with this machine
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly
followed.
 Do not perform maintenance on electrical compo-
nents until after disconnecting the HOT STAPLER
from the power supply. For this, switch the HOT
STAPLER off and pull the mains plug! The mainte-
nance must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Use only original spare parts.
 Warning! Do not use the HOT STAPLER in the
vicinity of inflammable or explosive materials (pet-
rol, solvent, gun powder, etc.).
 When working with the HOT STAPLER, always
wear personal protective equipment, such as
gloves and safety goggles. During the welding, the
inserted staple can reach a temperature of 500 °C.
Incorrect handling can lead to serious burns or
cause a fire.
Before inserting a staple, make sure that
the electrodes are not hot!
Do not touch the staple during its heating
up and during the welding!
 Use only original Würth accessories.
