When the indicator light turns off, remove the plug.

Hold the Iron horizontally over the sink and Press the self-clean Button for about
Ÿ
1-2 minutes; Pitch the iron up and down slowly while self-cleaning. Check that all
water and steam thoroughly stop coming out of the sole plate vents. After self-
clean is finished empty any remaining water. Release button to stop Auto-clean
function. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
NOTE! Do not use any descaling uid or vinegar.
Turn the steam control to the MAX position and Plug in the iron and heat for
Ÿ
about 2 minutes to dry out any remaining water.
Iron on a towel to remove any drops of water remaining on the bottom of iron.
Ÿ
Cool as usual and store the iron.
Ÿ
Clean & maintenance:
Turn the temperature Control Dial to the MIN position and unplug the iron and
Ÿ
allow to cool the heating plate when carry out the maintenance.
Empty the Iron immediately after using. Set the variable steam control to max.
Ÿ
And empty any water left in tank. Then set the variable steam control to off
position. Do not store the iron with water in it.
When necessary use a damp cloth to clean the cool iron, then wipe dry.
Ÿ
Starch and other residue may be easily removed from the Soleplate with a
Ÿ
damp cloth.
To avoid scratching the finishing, never use a metallic pad to clean the Soleplate,
Ÿ
and never place the iron on a rough surface.
Warning: To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or
Ÿ
appliance in water or any other liquid.
Always store the iron on its heel to protect the soleplate.
Ÿ
NOTE: THE SOLEPLATE OF STEAM IRON MUST TO BE
DRIED AFTER USE
