Select the multiplexer type that recorded the images, DM for Dedicated Micros multiplexers
®
or Robot for Robot
multiplexers.
VCR type
Select the type of VCR that is used for recording. Select Timelapse for standard timelapse
VCRs, Real time for domestic VCRs or virtual real time VCRs, or User defined to customise
the field delays for the VCR.
VCR record speed
Select the normal recording speed of the VCR being used, from 3-hour to 960-hour. If no
timelapse mode is being used, select None. To prevent the wrong record speed being
selected, select VEXT to automatically match the record speed of the VCR.
Alarm record speed
Select the alarm recording speed of the VCR being used, from 3-hour to 960-hour. If no
timelapse mode is being used, select None. To prevent the wrong alarm record speed being
selected, select VEXT to automatically match the alarm record speed of the VCR.
VCR text
Select the size of text – camera titles, and time and date - to be recorded to the tape. The
default setting is Large, Small text is half the size. Select Off if text recording is not required.
VCR check/setup
Select View to check the correct images are being recorded onto tape, or to setup a VCR's
on-screen menus.
Note: The VCR check/setup option is not currently available on Sprite Lite 4.

Camera Recording
Sprite Lite can be set up to record all cameras or selected cameras. All the cameras are
recorded by default. Cameras removed from the record sequence are still available for
viewing on the main or spot monitors.

To change the cameras to be recorded:
• Press
to change the right-hand column to Selected cameras
• A menu is displayed showing the currently recorded cameras
• Press the required camera key to toggle the recording on
Tip: When a camera key is pressed, the selected camera is displayed on-screen
for verification
Camera Viewing
Sprite Lite can be set up to view all cameras or selected cameras. All the cameras are
viewable by default. Cameras removed from view will not be displayed on the main or spot
monitors, but are still recorded if they are selected in the Camera Recording menu.

Tip: When a camera key is pressed, the selected camera is displayed on-screen
for verification.
Important note: A user password must be set in the System Options page to prevent
unauthorised personnel having access to hidden cameras in the menus.
