Safety instructions for the aerator pump:
Please note: Basic safety precautions including the following should be observed to protect from
injury and electric shock:
Read and follow all safety advice.

Make sure that the operating voltage indicated on the name-plate agrees with the
mains voltage.

Do not place the air pump on or over the aquarium. If the appliance falls into the water,
do not try to retrieve it! Pull the power plug rst and then remove the appliance.
4.
The aquarium and the appliance should be positioned next to a wall socket such that
no water can splash onto the socket or the plug. The power cable of the appliance
should form a drip loop to prevent water running along the cable from getting into the
socket.
5.
Never pull the plug if the socket or plug is wet! First, turn o the circuit that the
appliance is connected to by using the fuse switch, and then pull the plug. Check the
socket and the plug for water.
6.
The appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with a
physical, sensory or mental impairment, as well as by inexperienced persons, if they
are under supervision. They should have received an introduction to how to use the
appliance for this purpose and be aware of the risks of use. The appliance is not a toy.
Children should not clean the appliance or do maintenance or repair work on it unless
they are over the age of 8 and are being supervised.

Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use, before
installing or removing parts or before cleaning. Never disconnect the plug by pulling
on the cable, and instead, always grasp the plug and pull it out. Never pull the plug
with wet hands!

The appliance should not be used for any purpose other than its intended purpose.
The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer can lead to hazardous
situations.
9.
Do not operate or store the appliance in places with a risk of frost.
10. Never carry the appliance by the cable!
11. Before using the appliance for the rst time, make sure it has been installed safely.
12. The appliance may only be used indoors. Only intended for aquatic purposes.
13. Do not use the appliance if the cable, power plug or housing is damaged!
14. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer
service or a similarly quali ed person to prevent danger.
15. CAUTION – Before performing maintenance work, switch o all the appliances in the
aquarium or pond or disconnect the power plug.
16. Disconnect all electrical appliances in the aquarium from the power supply before
working on the appliance or the aquarium.
17. Avoid electric shock by NEVER immersing the appliance, mains plug or mains cable in
water or any other liquid.
