WARNING!
Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source when making adjustments
or when installing and removing accessories.
Wheel guard
Place the wheel guard (7) on the spindle collar (4). Adjust the position of the wheel guard
(7) to the requirements of the work process. Close the screw to secure the guard.
The closed side of the wheel guard (7) must always point towards the operator.
Auxiliary Handle (see figure B)
When working with the grinder, always mount the auxiliary handle.
Screw in the auxiliary handle (2) on the motor head depending on the chosen working method.
This tool has two holes to change the auxiliary handle position, please select the proper one
from "1" to "2"
Mounting the grinding/cutting accessories
Before performing any modifications on the tool itself, pull the power plug.
WARNING!
Use only grinding wheels, discs and accessories that are rated for speeds that
are at least as fast as the maximum speed of the tool. Grinding wheels, discs
and accessories may become hot during use. Do not touch them until they have
Grinding Wheels
Clean the grinder spindle and all parts to be mounted. Place the mounting flange
onto the spindle. Place the grinding wheel onto the mounting flange. The arbor
(mounting hole) in the grinding wheel must fit properly onto the mounting flange
without looseness. Thread the clamp nut onto the spindle. Engage the spindle
lock, then tighten the clamp nut using the spanner.
Do not overtighten the clamp nut.
ATTENTION
After mounting the grinding, wheel/disc or accessory, ensure that it is mounted
correctly and turns freely prior to turning the tool on.
Flap disc
Depending on the application and if necessary, remove the Wheel guard (7). Place
the special retainer mounting flange (8) and the flap disc on the grinder spindle
(5). Screw on the clamping nut (10) and tighten it with the two-pin spanner.
Cup brush
Depending on the application and if necessary, remove the Wheel guard (7) The
grinding tool must be screwed onto the grinder spindle (5) until it rests firmly
against the grinder spindle flange at the end of the grinder spindle threads. Tighten
with an open-ended spanner.
