1. Remove the body pad from the chair, then
place it face down on a flat surface (Fig.1).
2. Power off the chair, then unplug it.

INSTALL THE JADE HEAT PAD
1. Open the backrest pad zipper, then lift the right-hand side of the foam out of the backrest pad cavity
and flip it to the left. CAUTION: Do not completely remove the foam or you will disconnect or damage
the lumbar air valve on the left-hand side). (Fig.2)
2. Remove the protective strips covering the hook-and-loop fastener strips at the top and bottom of the
backrest pad cavity.
3. Insert the jade heat pad into the backrest pad cavity, attaching the hook-and-look fasteners on the
underside of the pad with the corresponding fasteners on the inside of the backrest pad (Fig.3).
IMPORTANT:
Make sure the hook-and-loop fasteners on the chair pad and heating pad are
attached together COMPLETELY FLAT with no folds or buckles. Otherwise you may feel
discomfort when sitting in the chair.
4. Thread the jade heat pad cable through the hole in the backrest upholstery.

5. Reinstall the backrest pad foam into the backrest pad cavity, on top of the jade heat pad.
6. Smooth the foam inside the pad, pulling it firmly toward the pad edges. HINT: Begin with the top
corners then work your way down the sides (Fig.4).
7. Close the backrest pad zipper (Fig.5).
