Buttons <<< and >>> permit to transfer channel plans from the Channel Plan
Library to the Channel Plan Group and vice versa.
Channel Plan Groups can be received from the PROMAX-10/8+/8 to the computer
or transmitted from the computer to the equipment by means of the Receive and the
Transmit buttons in the lower side of the Channel Plan Group column.
Chanel plan can be modified by selecting it and clicking on Edit button. This
opens Channel Plan window (figure 7) and shows, and allows to modify, the channel
plan name, audio carrier location and audio mode. In the case channels defined as
digital also appear activated next parameters: symbol rate, type of annex, modulation
and attenuation.
If the unit is a PROMAX-8, the cells of BW (bandwidth), S.R., Annex,
Remark:
Mod. and Att. will be ignored and no modification will have effect.
Channel information can be modified by means of the previous procedure,
selecting one cell of the channel and clicking on Edit button or, as well, double
clicking on one of the cells belonging to the channel to be edit (this will open Channel
Editor window) and clicking on the Edit button of the opened window.
In order to insert a new channel in the edited channel plan click on one cell of the
channel located just beneath the position where you want to insert the new channel
and then click on the Insert button. For example, in order to insert a new channel over
the channel number 5, click on one of the cells of the channel 5. A channel can also
be inserted by double clicking on one of the cells belonging to the channel located just
beneath the position where you want to insert the new one and then clicking over the
Insert button of the Channel Editor window.
In order to delete one channel of the edited channel plan, select one of the cells
belonging to that channel (click on one of the cells) and click on the Delete button.
You can also delete a channel by double clicking on one cell of that channel and
clicking on Delete button of the Channel Editor window.
