OPERATION
Clean the appliance thoroughly before first use with hot water and a bit of dishwashing liquid. Make sure
that the electric part does not come into contact with water. Rinse with clean water and dry the appliance
carefully.
Filling in Oil or Fat
Do not switch on the appliance before you have filled it with oil or fat.
1. Place the fryer on a stable level surface.
2. Place the oil container into the housing.
3. Fix the control panel on the housing.
4. Fill the oil container with oil or fat.
The oil level must always be between the maximum and minimum marks shown on the oil
container wall).
Always use suitable oils and fats which can withstand high temperature.
Do not mix oils or fats of different types or with used cooking oil.
Frying
1. Plug the appliance in.
The red power indicator light will come on.
2. Set the thermostat knob to the desired temperature depending on what you are going to fry.
For the required temperature and time, please refer to the following table, mentioned
temperature(s) and time are for reference only.

When the green ready indicator light comes on, the fryer has reached the set temperature.
During the frying cycle, the green ready indicator light will switch ON and OFF as the temperature
rises and falls due to the thermostat control.
3. Put your desired food into the fryer basket and slowly lower the basket into the oil.
Care has to be taken that the oil level does not rise too close to the edge of the oil container when
the fryer basket in inserted, in case it does, please take out some food from the basket.
WARNING: Lowering the basket too quickly or introducing wet food could cause the oil to
explode or spatter. Risk of serious burning.
4. Close the lid.
5. When the food is cooked, turn the thermostat knob anticlockwise to the "0" position.
The red power indicator light will go off.
