CARE END CLEANING
Damage such as hairline cracks, may not always be readily visible, and
may occur by dropping your helmet on solid surfaces or other rough
handling.
If your helmet suffers a severe blow or is damaged by usage or rough
handling, it must be replaced.
Use a solution of mild soap or detergent and lukewarm water to clean your
helmet and visor. Dry the helmet and visor at room temperature and never
expose them to excessive heat. You must not subject the helmet to strong
sunlight in an enclosed area such as the back shelf of a car.
Warning: The helmet can be seriously damaged by some common
substances without damage being visible to the user.
Do not paint or apply stickers, petrol or other chemical solvents.
VISORS
ATTENTION
1. Users shouldn't use for cleaning purposes petrol, oils and chemical
solvents. Contact with petroleum products and other solvents may
impair the optical properties, reduce the mechanical strength and
moreover modify the abrasion resistant coating.
2. Clean the visors only with neutral soap and water.
3. Do not apply paint or adhesive stickers to the visor's surface.
4. If tinted visors are marked "DAY TIME USE ONLY", users shouldn't
use them at night or in conditions of poor visibility.
5. The visor can be only applied to the helmet for which it has been
designed.
6. When deep scratches are visible or when the visor is damaged it is
likely that the abrasion resistant coating has been penetrated and
the visor will have to be replaced.
