CAUTION: No appliance should have an amperage rating that exceeds the individual breaker rating in the transfer switch. The total
amperage of all circuits can exceed the generator rating, but not all circuits will be able to be used concurrently. Do not connect any
appliance that is rated at more than 15 amps (Model 15116V) or 20 amps (Models 30116V, 20216V, 30216V, 30310V). Gen/Tran is
not responsible for accidents or property damage due to incorrect or inappropriate installation.

3-position switches for transferring circuits from utility to generator power
Dual wattmeters are provided to help you monitor and balance the loads on your
generator, prolonging generator life
Power Inlet for quick cord connection to your generator
Aluminum enclosure won't rust (for indoor use only)
No feeder breaker needed in main load center/electrical panel
Warning: Gen/Tran transfer switches should be installed by a professional electrician familiar
with electrical wiring and codes, and experienced in working with generators. Gen/Tran
accepts no responsibility for accidents, damages or personal injury caused by incorrect
installation. These transfer switches are intended for surface mounting INDOORS only.
Gen/Tran transfer switches are made from UL listed or recognized components, and meet the
criteria of National Electrical code Article 702.6 for Optional Standby Systems.

    30310V, two handle ties are included for use with two 2-pole circuits, D+I and E+J, however, you can wire up to five 2- pole circuits with additional handle ties. Models 15116V and 30116V can be hardwired for use with 120/240 volt applications.

  • Página 4: Transferring From Utility Power To Generator Power

    Replace the cover to the load center. Fill in the chart on the top of the Gen/Tran transfer switch to describe your emergency circuits and related circuit numbers in the load center. Turn ON all breakers in the load center, and turn all switches on the transfer switch to the UTIL position.
