② Filter Settings:
1. Automatic adjustments applied to the scans
2. Multipass Exposure
3. Auto Contrast
4. Saturation
5. Brightness
Save / Export / Import
Save: apply these settings to the current scan session
Export: saves these settings to a directory of your choice for future recall
Import: recalls previously exported custom settings
STEP 5 – Prescan
Select the "Prescan " to prescan the slide currently loaded into the scanner.
1. Once the whole image shows up in the Prescan window, you may use the Rotate and Flip functions to
adjust how your images will be presented after scanning.
2. After settings have been applied, press and hold left mouse button at one corner of the area where you
want to scan, and then slide diagonally to the opposite corner of the area to highlight the area before the
final Scan. See Fig 1. You may also move the highlight box to a new area you want to scan by pressing
and holding left mouse button at the center of the highlight box after an arrow appears. Fig. 2 & 3.
Note: You may delete the highlight by using the delete button on the keyboard.

Pre-Scanning should be used to manually adjust color/edit settings
for each slide before doing the final scan. It's possible to set different
settings for each slide to be scanned.
