18. TROUBLESHOOTING

- WARNING! Before carrying out any maintenance
operations, switch off the machine, and remove the plug
from the power socket
FAULT CAUSE
- Defective power
cable
- Plug not inserted in
socket correctly
- Power cable from
plug to control panel
detached
Motor does not start
- Loose wire inside
when switch is motor circuit board
turned - A wire has become
disconnected inside
the panel
- Faulty main switch
-The overload safety
device has been
activated.
Vertical blade - locking knob too tight - Slacken knob
movement not
smooth
- Guide rails dirty
Horizontal carriage
movement not
smooth
Lack of cooling water Refer to section : "cleaning and maintenance of
supply to blade cooling circuit"
- Blade is worn
Blade does not cut
- Drive belt not
tensioned
Motor starts but Belt is broken
blade does not rotate

REMEDY
- Check power cables
- Ensure correct
connection
- Connect cable- re
-Connect wire
- Remake the
connection
- Replace switch
-Wait for a few minutes
and then try restarting
the machine.
- Clean the guide rails
- Fit new blade
-Tension the belt
Replace drive belt
