to death. This product was especially developed for mountaineering,
climbing and industrial climbing. The following information is
important for appropriate use, but never substitutes experience,

SKYLOTEC material of any kind is individually responsible for their
knowledge of safety measures as well as the learning of the right
usage according to the latest technology. The user must ensure, to
be informed correctly at any time about the possibly necessary
safety measures and that he is able to apply them along with the
situation. Otherwise the equipment may only be used under
supervision of a responsible, experienced or ulterior competent
person. Manufacturer and specialized trade will decline any
accountability in case of misuse and/or incorrect use.

2.) Use
Skylotec helmets are designed to protect your head from falling
items and from hitting obstacles during a fall. If there is the
possibility of falling rocks, ice or other items always wear a helmet.
Avoid climbing below other rope teams and prefer a protected
position. Observe weather, temperature and wind conditions, as
these factors can cause a higher risk of falling rocks, ice or other
items.
3.) Adjustment of helmet
Open the chin strap and put the helmet on your head. With the help
of the adjustment function (3.1-3.2) of the angle brace, the helmet
needs to be fastened tight but comfortable. The helmet may not be
sliding to the back, front or side. A helmet which is not fitting
correctly cannot protect efficiently and can constrain the field of
vision massively. Position the chin strap (E) in a way, which does
not affect your ears. The adjustment allows a perfect fitting. Close
the chin strap (E) and set it tight in a way which is comfortable but
does not allow the helmet to slide. The helmet needs to sit tight but
